She said "give it away". After just a moment or two, I smiled and said "You're right" Our mother taught us to share.

So, here goes - All the shoes and hair at Vignette and In Her Shoes are now free for everyone. Future releases will also be free. The group (Vignette) will be one of the 25 allotted groups if you choose to join (to get notices and exclusive free gifts). I decided to go the easy route here to give me more building time in the long run.

I will never be the "best" hair maker or "best" shoe maker, but I DO make quality items and I never just throw things together. I have never made a profit in sl, but I do love the creative process.

One person warned me and said "but you're closing a door you can't open back up". She's right. I'm just fine with it. I figure not everyone can afford the newest releases, but they should still have easy access to quality items in central locations.

Damn shame all those really bad (and often very dated) free items in SL aren't just pulled out. As a noob, I acquired every freakin new bit of clothing I could get my hands on in the first 30 days. WOW, was THAT a mistake. My inventory became a huge mess and it seemed 90% of the free stuff was unusable. To this day my inventory still groans with bits of it.


Don't get me wrong, there are some incredible things out there but for the most part these treasures are spread so far out across the grid you may never find them.

My two newest releases are Warm Winter Boots and Toasties, please enjoy them. All the colors are found in the shop and I felt no fat packs or demos were necessary. Take the colors you like so your inventory can sleep at night.

Great pirate get up or what??

I liked buying the bits separate - Vest, Pants, Hat and Sash. This way I could come up with just the colors I wanted. BTW - The hat fit perfectly on the hair I picked up over at Truth.

My two favorite things about this look were the hair and eyes. Those two small additions to the outfit made the whole look look pop!

Well - I make hair and..stuff at [V] Vignette

We share the same SIM - Vignette.

One day we decided we should at least try some sort of shop together.
In Her Shoes has been born. You will find it strategically placed smack dab in the middle of the sim (high on a mountain).

As you look about the shop you'll notice two different styles. Es0 is a workaholic in sl - I on the other hand get easily distracted. Our displays and packaging won't always "match" BUT we both have a love of quality goods. So come check the place out!

Es0 wanted an MM Board and I think it was a great idea. So for this week - take a peek at whats on the board and touch it.

If you've never used them before, and the boards goal is 175 and 175 people touch the board that day, everyone who touched it wins the prize. That means no waiting on lucky chairs or silly camping - just touch. Of course, we would love for you to take a good look at our products, but in the mean time - touch the board... and if you think the prize is worth it - ask a friend to get her butt over and touch it too.

Something Old, Something New

I saw this stunning dress and I just had to have it. When I think of Ivalde, the first thing that comes to mind is always vintage. I admit it, Nef is amazingly talented regardless as to her styles. This might just be the first modern/contemporary outfit I've ever bought at her place and WOW, was it worth it!

Of course, wearing vintage hair was a snap for me!

Men -

Two months now since my breakup with Kairos and I'm trying to move on. I've actually flirted with a few, but I find the clever ones live in foreign countries and the timing bites.

I've tried a ball room or two with very..uncomfortable results..Eww! (thank goodness for mute). Old friends have been incredibly supportive but whining on their shoulders stopped some time back.

I think it's harder to meet that "great person" the second time around. Yesh..all those expectations. Two have even asked me to "change my look just for them" OMG , HELL NO!! Can't believe they asked. One wanted the "overblown" look of an older woman with bad plastic surgery. I swear - I went into sl shock on THAT one. He seemed so normal!

On a positive note, I am more optimistic lately and try not to take any of them seriously:)
